I started painting about 25 years ago with the help of teachers at the Brenham Fine Arts League. By taking lessons from local artists and workshops from well-known artists, she has learned to paint in oils, acrylics, watercolors and pastels.

I have an impressionistic style and love painting Texas landscapes in oil, but also enjoy doing abstracts, still life and animals.

I am a member of the Brenham Fine Arts League, Lone Star Art Guild, Art of the Lakes and Brazos Valley Art Council. I helped organize the Downtown Art Gallery and have held offices on the boards of both Brenham Fine Arts League and Downtown Art Gallery. I have taught art classes at the art league for 15 years.
